The first ever Canadian Geotechnical Society golf day was held bright and early the morning of  September 15 at Royal Woodbine Golf Club.  The day was a resounding success with over 90 people attending.  The golf was topped off with a luncheon and a talk by “Engineers Without Borders”.  Randy played with our friends from Soil Engineers Ltd, with whom we have done many drilling projects this year.  While not the winners, they certainly did not come in last place !  We are told this is likely to become an annual event.
