Shallow Depth Holes

Kodiak also provides an array of hand driven equipment for shallow sampling; generally restricted to depths of 4-6 feet. A handheld slide hammer can be used to drive a sampler, while an electric spiral bit can be used for augering. We can also provide this equipment for very rapid soil gas surveys using temporary holes and photoionization detector. This equipment is generally lightweight and can be operated by one technician; costs are therefore significantly less than larger drilling units.
